I give 100% at every practice or competition and work as much as I can in the offseason. Every time I step onto a field or court, I tend to bring intensity to the game that can change the trajectory of the team. This year I am the lone returning starter to our baseball team, so I have stepped up; therefore, I am a leader from the dugout or behind the plate, wherever Coach needs me. I celebrate the successes of my teammates and lift them up when they struggle. I lead by being the hardest worker on the field and the scrappiest player. I do the ugly things that most people would not notice, but someone has to do them, so that guy is me.
