My mom is a teacher and pushed me when little and now I’m successfully pushing myself in high school. Culver Academy has been a great opportunity, that was not part of my original plan. It was a hard decision to leave home but has been the best experience for my education and game. We have been to the Indiana State championship twice with a win and a very close loss. I have accumulated a 3.7 GPA while climbing the ranks of our military academy by making Lieutenant my junior year. I have already been commissioned to be the Executive Officer of my unit, of 60 students, when I start my senior year. I have made the most of my 3 years away from home in every way. I have one more year to see what else I can accomplish.
I’m ready for more great opportunities academically, and athletically with my college experience. I know how to work hard on and off the court. I’m very disciplined and already have great time management skills. I’m looking forward to not being a typical college Freshman. I learned a lot already about being away from home for high school. That will make it much easier to focus on classes and my game when I get to college.
I’m still deciding exactly what I’d like to do as a career. I am interested in Business, Finance and law as my top 3.
